Meet Your Springfield Dentist, Dr. Fauver
Dr. Christopher Fauver is originally from Houston, Texas. He earned his DDS degree at the University of Texas Dental Branch in 1993, after which he completed an additional year of postgraduate work at Ft. Campbell in Kentucky. In addition to running his dental practice, Dr. Fauver is also currently serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the National Guard.
Dr. Fauver’s U.S. Army Advanced Education Residency in General Dentistry helped prepare him for his experiences in Bosnia, Croatia, and Hungary, where he was deployed for a year in support of IFOR Operation Joint Endeavor. While there, he ran a one-man dental clinic that supported 10,000 soldiers, including all of NATO and some soldiers in the Russian Army and Air Force.
Dr. Fauver served five years active duty in the Army, stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. He also served in the Vermont Army National Guard. Dr. Fauver has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Humanitarian Service Medal, and NATO Medal.
Private General Dentistry
Dr. Fauver has been practicing private general dentistry since 2001, and this office he purchased has been open since 1968. He’s happy to provide the Springfield community with the excellent, friendly dental care you deserve. Dr. Fauver is proud to serve the families of Bellows Falls, Chester, and Ludlow, Vermont, as well as Claremont and Charleston, New Hampshire.
In addition to being the Vermont State Dental Surgeon, Dr. Fauver takes many hours of continuing education and training each year to stay up-to-date in his field. He has completed coursework in short-term orthodontics (6 Month Braces) and CEREC basic and advanced training to provide one-visit crowns.
In his personal time, Dr. Fauver enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, kayaking, and scuba diving. He loves to spend time with his wife and two children, and their family is active in the community. He looks forward to getting to know you and your family, too!Contact Us
